Here is some quick, basic info on these great lizards.
Leopard Geckos range in sizes from around 7 to 10 inches. They can live anywhere between 6 and 20 years (sometimes even more).
They are carnivores, therefore they eat a wide variety of insects such as crickets, mealworms, wax worms, and small cockroaches. Be sure to dust all of these insects with a calcium/vitamin d3 powder. (I also leave a small layer of this powder in the bottom of their mealworm dish)
Be sure to have shallow dish of fresh, clean water for them (so they can easily climb in and out of it)
They should have a "hot spot" in the cage around 85 to 90 degrees. The "cool" end should be in the mid 70's. Do NOT use heat rocks, as they are known to malfunction and cause burns.
There is a large controversy over substrate. They worry about sand being digested and causing impaction. I personally use corn cob bedding. It is inexpensive, easy to clean/change, and thus far (8 years) I have had no issues with it.

After a nice winter off, the geckos have slowly started to breed again. We have had 3 babies hatch in the last 2 weeks, and a few more should be hatching soon!

I can't wait till babies start hatching! It doesn't matter what kind they are, it is always fun to watch!!
