Here is some quick, basic info on these wonderful snakes.
Ball Pythons range in size from 2 to 5 feet. They can live from around 10 years up to around 40.
Ball pythons are terrestrial, and need dark places to hide. Be sure to have a hut, or den for them to hide under at all times, as they feel most comfortable in a tight, enclosed area.
Be sure to have a dish of fresh, clean water in their cage that is large enough for the snake to coil up in.
The substrate I would recommend is either aspen or cypress. Newspaper and astroturf also work well. Be sure to STAY AWAY from cedar and pine. Both have natural oils that are toxic to small animals.
They should have a hot spot in the low to mid 90s, and a cool spot in the low to mid 80s. Do NOT use heat rocks, as they are known to malfunction and cause burns.
They need around 50% humidity on a daily basis, and this should be raised a bit during the shedding periods.
Ball pythons can eat a variety of rodents, such as mice, rats, hamsters and gerbils. Be sure to feed the appropriate sized meal for your snake. The meal should be NO bigger then the girth of your snake. Feeding food too large can cause severe damage to the snake.
Ball pythons come in a large variety of colour morphs. There are Co dominant, dominant, and recessive. These can be mixed and matched to make double hets, and so on. Pastel, piebald, ghost, granite, and albino are just a few of the ever growing morphs you can find.

A lot of lock ups have been witnessed so far this year! I am hoping for some yellow bellies, some mojaves, albinos, and if I am lucky, some very unique super pastels!

Third clutch is on the ground! Dameon laid 6 big eggs. She was paired with Demetrius, and this was her first time breeding. About 2 months, and these babies should be making their appearances.

The eggs laid by Kali, on May 5th will be hatching within the next couple weeks. She laid 10 eggs, but sadly one of them molded. 9 eggs are looking good, and I can't wait to see what hatches!
Thing 2 (who was paired with Arachnis, the spider) laid 6 eggs on the 28th of May. These eggs will hatch about 20 days after Kali's clutch hatches

We have now had a few lock ups. Hopefully we will get some eggs this year. Lock ups so far would be: het albino to het albino, pastel to normal, spider to reduced pattern normal.

After many lock ups, we still have no eggs. It seems this has been a bum year for us in the ball python breeding department. Hopefully all of the girls just needed a year off, and will give us some great clutches next year!
On a good note, I have a couple of babies "on order" from Chris Gibson (he produced "Arachnis", our spider ball python) I have already picked out a beautiful male yellow belly, who has a very handsome chocolate colour to him! The other baby I am planning to purchase from him will be a pinstripe ball python. I say planning, because it has not yet been born.
